(1882–1973}
US film producer. Goldwyn came to America from Warsaw at the age of thirteen. In 1918 he formed the Goldwyn Pictures Corporation, then in 1924 formed Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Among his most successful films were The Little Foxes (1941) and The Best Years of Our Lives (1947). His malapropisms were famous: one of the most quoted was ‘Include me out.’
