Rosenberg, Isaac
(1890–1918)
   English poet. When Rosenberg was killed in action in 1918, he was beginning to emerge as an important English poet, able to combine lyrical beauty with sharp realism. A collected edition of his works was published in 1937. He was also a promising painter.
