Greenberg, Hank (Henry Benjamin)
(b. 1911)
   US baseball player. Born in New York, Greenberg was a professional with the Detroit Tigers from 1933 to 1947, with an interval of war service. He helped the Tigers win the American League pennant four times and the World Series in 1945. He was twice picked as Most Valuable Player of the Year and in 1956 was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
