Levi-Bianchini, Angelo
(1887–1920)
   Italian naval officer and Zionist. A naval commander with a distinguished war record and experience in diplomatic assignments, Levi-Bianchini became an enthusiastic Zionist. He worked with Dr WEIZMANN on the Zionist Commission in Palestine in 1918, and at the San Remo Conference in 1920. In that year he was killed by Bedouin tribesmen in Transjordan, while on a mission to Damascus for the Italian government.
